2025 Edition

THE 29TH EDITION WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 14 TO 16 NOVEMBER 2025 AT THE STRASBOURG EXHIBITION CENTRE, WITH THE OPENING RECEPTION ON 13 NOVEMBER.

ST-ART has established itself as a major event in the European art market and an unmissable cultural fixture in the Grand Est region.

This edition will be marked by a significant renewal of its participants. Among the sixty or so Alsatian, French and European galleries expected to attend, more than a third will be participating in ST-ART for the first time or making a comeback.

GLASS ART AT THE HEART OF ST-ART

In Alsace, the historic home of crystal, three exceptional sites — the Lalique Museum, the Meisenthal glassworks and the Saint-Louis crystal factory — are joining forces with ST-ART to showcase the richness of contemporary design. The Lalique Museum will present reissues by René Lalique and collaborations with architects such as Zaha Hadid. Meisenthal will exhibit works from Studio Glass and creations from the International Centre for Glass Art (CIAV). The Saint-Louis crystal factory will offer an immersive augmented reality tour, as will the other two sites.

The Centre Européen de Recherches et de Formation aux Arts Verriers (CERFAV), a regional benchmark in glassmaking training, will highlight eight graduates, including Manon Fontaine and Alizée Berthet. Finally, the European Studio Glass Art Association (ESGAA) will present poetic works by Kim KototamaLune and two totems by the Bones and Clouds collective.

Prix de la jeune création européenne

TWO AWARDS FOR YOUNG CREATORS

In partnership with SAAMS, the fair will award the Théophile Schuler Prize to a young Alsatian artist under the age of 35 and celebrate the second edition of the Young European Creation Prize. The latter, open to all practices, will reward an artist and their gallery from among emerging European talents. The jury, which will meet on 13 November, will award a trophy designed by the CIAV, a prize of €2,000 and a solo show at the next edition.

Karine N'guyen Van Tham, winner of the 2024 prize (Constantin Chariot gallery), will exhibit this year on a 21 m² stand and will speak at a conference. She will also be part of the jury.

La HEAR

AN EXHIBITION IN COLLABORATION WITH THE RHINE UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS

Year after year, ST-ART has established itself as a springboard for young creators and is renewing its collaboration with HEAR, the internationally renowned art school in Strasbourg and Mulhouse. In a dedicated space, students and recent graduates exhibit and sell their creations: illustrations, jewellery, ceramics, wooden, glass or metal objects, while exploring the economic issues related to art: is a work of art a commodity? Is an exhibition a market? What is the relationship between artist and viewer?

L'industrie magnifique

L’Industrie Magnifique — Cassandre Albert X Plastic Odyssey

ST-ART welcomes ‘Le Rocher’, a monumental work by Cassandre Albert, in partnership with L'Industrie Magnifique, ENGEES and a private patron. A graduate of HEAR, the artist combines painting, light and installation. Inspired by her trip aboard the Plastic Odyssey boat, the work—designed with recycled plastic profiles—questions our perception through a flaw that reveals an interior landscape.

For Richard Solti, director of the Ritsch-Fisch Gallery, this project embodies the gallery's commitment to art brut and young contemporary creation, while affirming its attachment to ST-ART and the region.

Water, a theme in the spotlight with the François Schneider Foundation

The François Schneider Foundation, a unique art centre, presents a programme at ST-ART entirely based on the theme of water. Through a selection of works from the ‘Contemporary Talents’ competition, the foundation explores water as a material, symbol and subject from artistic, poetic, political and scientific perspectives. The public will discover creations by Arthur Hoffner, Dutca Sidorenko, Guillaume Barth, Bianca Bondi, Olivier Leroi, Manon Lanjouère and Eva Nielsen.
