Art leasing, also known as Rent-to-Own (LOA), is an innovative solution for democratising art in professional spaces. It allows companies or professionals to rent a work of art for a defined period with the option to purchase it at the end of the contract.
At the end of the lease, which lasts for a maximum of 48 months, the customer can choose to return the work, extend the lease or purchase it for a pre-defined residual value. In France, art leasing offers a significant tax advantage for businesses. The rental payments are deductible from taxable income and reduce corporation tax (for businesses) or income tax (for professionals).
