Thematic pathways

The partners of Strasbourg Art Week offer thematic routes to (re)discover Strasbourg through self-guided tours for families, friends, or solo travelers—on foot or by bike!

Have you spotted one or more artworks in the heart of Strasbourg and want to learn their story? Take part in the Strasbourg Art Week route to decode all the city’s artistic works!

Street art trail

Explore the interactive, participatory map and immerse yourself in the world of street art and graffiti in the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg. This innovative project aims to highlight the works that color our urban environment and encourage people to discover this dynamic, accessible form of art.

Journey of the Magnificent

The Journey of the Magnificent is a permanent exhibition that lets you see and revisit the works created as part of the Magnificent Industry exhibitions.

Unveiled in public, they return to the companies or territories that brought them to life, in ways that are more or less accessible to everyone. Initially temporary, the exhibition thus becomes permanent, with a collection that grows over the years.

Registration and booking on the Magnificent Industry website.

Signature Cycling Route

For several years, the Signature project has invited artists, architects, designers, and creators to imagine works connected with real-estate projects and the places that host them. The result: original creations find their place in the urban landscape and help transform how we see places that are sometimes familiar.

This route invites you to discover these works by bike, at your own pace, from one piece to the next. Art installations, graphic creations, sculptures, or interventions in public space: each stop is an invitation to pause, look closely, and discover the history of the site and the work.

Hop on your bike, keep your eyes open… and set off to meet a creative Eurometropolis!

Route of the European Centre for Art and Contemporary Actions (CEAAC)

Since 1988, the CEAAC has installed more than thirty monumental works of art spread across all of Alsace, within towns and villages, but also in parks and forests or on the Vosges’ terrain.

Each of the works installed along the Contemporary Art Route establishes a particular dialogue with its geographical, sociological, or artistic context.

Nine of them make up the Pourtalès Sculpture Park in Strasbourg, and question the way in which Humankind represents Nature and its relationship with it.

These outdoor works are freely accessible throughout the year. The CEAAC’s cultural mediation service offers groups the opportunity to have them guided during their visit to one or more sites: to book, go to the page for Guided Tours and educational workshops.

SAAMS cultural rally

On Saturday, 14 November, the Société des Amis des Arts et des Musées de Strasbourg (SAAMS) invites you to take part by bike or by public transport in a unique cultural rally dedicated to contemporary creation in urban space. As you follow a route through the streets and squares of the city, set off in search of contemporary works of art that shape our everyday landscape. Riddles, hidden architectural details, and visual clues will guide your steps, helping you take a fresh look at Strasbourg’s heritage. Whether you go alone, with your family, or with friends, get ready to explore, observe, and decipher the artistic treasures in the open air of the Alsace capital.
