Description
Estopia Art Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery with locations in Lugano, Aosta and Bucharest. Its programme takes a transregional perspective, with a particular focus on Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Turkey and the Middle East.
The gallery works with emerging and established artists, as well as those whose practices remain underrepresented. Their work explores questions of identity, collective memory and cultural transformation. Painting and sculpture are central to the programme, which brings together distinctive artistic approaches and a thoughtful engagement with the materials, images and narratives that shape our present.
Through exhibitions conceived as encounters and spaces for discovery, Estopia seeks to connect different art scenes, histories and audiences. Attentive to local contexts and open to international exchange, the gallery provides a space for the circulation of ideas and works.
