Apollonia

ST-ART will be hosting MOSS, a plant-based work by Marco Barotti that can currently be seen in the medieval garden of the Musée de l'OEuvre-Notre-Dame, in the heart of Strasbourg.

Produced as part of the VITAL programme, a European cooperation project aimed at raising public awareness of the ecological emergency through contemporary artistic creation, this living, kinetic and sound sculpture, invaded by moss, is fed by air quality data generated by the World Air Quality Index.

By analysing the air in our cities in real time, it encourages citizens to take part in the debate on pollution.

Also as part of the VITAL project with the Apollonia centre, a sound experience devised by the Ljubljana artist couple takes visitors on an immersive audio-guided walk through the public space using bio-acoustic headphones.
